Steve Smith’s Remarkable Journey with Aspen Healthcare
New Video Highlights Aspen’s Devotion to ALS Patients
The video below features former Oakland Raiders running back Steve Smith. Steve has been living with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, since 2002. As a long-time patient of Aspen Healthcare Services, Steve embodies courage, strength, and hope in his fight against this disease. Even though he is now confined to a bed and relies on a computer to communicate, his unbreakable spirit is an inspiration to us all.
With the love and support of his wife, Chie, and two children, Dante and Jazmin, along with specialized care from Aspen Healthcare services, Steve is able to maintain quality of life, comfort, and most importantly, hope. Aspen Healthcare is honored to provide the highest quality care to Steve and others like him, and is pleased to do its part in the fight against ALS.
