Aspen Healthcare recognizes that, for those who have served our country, several aspects of healthcare work better when programs are veteran-centered. Throughout our home care, home health, and hospice services, we work to serve the needs of veterans better. Aspen was even recently featured in The Times of Texas for our service to veterans. To learn more about our veteran-centered programs, please contact Barbara Goodman DeMarco, Navy Veteran employed at Aspen Healthcare Services. DeMarco served in the military from 1982-1993. She also served in the Gulf War from 1991-1993 and has three honorable discharges. Contact DeMarco at:
Veterans have layers of benefits that can pay for up to 100% of the cost of private aides for retirees or disabled adults. Aspen Healthcare will help veterans understand and access these benefits. Veterans’ home care includes basic help such as light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, health monitoring, and mobility assistance. When there is greater need, home care can also assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding. Aspen Healthcare offers Aide and Attendance services to make the lives of retirees and disabled adults safer, healthier, and more comfortable. When recovering from illness or injury, people temporarily need the skilled services of nurses and therapists visiting the home. With services from a broader range of professionals, such as registered nurses, doctors of physical therapy, respiratory therapists, speech therapists, and more, Aspen Healthcare provides nationally accredited home health. Here's more information about our certified and accredited medical home health services. Medicare pays 100% for our home health services and we work with TRICARE to better serve veterans. In cases where there might be some specific needs related to the veteran’s military service, combat experience, or other traumatic events, Aspen Healthcare Services will find resources to help support those we are caring for.
